BLC WHITE

We developed the "White" Team program in 2021/2022.  The "White" Teams are a bit different than our normal club offering, but are more comprehensive than our rec offering...think Club Light!  White teams are smaller developmental teams (12-18 players) that train all year, play in small-sided competitions throughout the year to develop the players that want a bit more than the seasonal offering we give to our rec players.

The BLC "White" Teams are a great opportunity for players to develop their skills (individually and collectively) with tons of repetitions and touches on the ball.  And we have found...the players have a ton of fun in this format!

Not all grades have a "White" Team.  Currently, we have a 2031 White Team and a 2032 White Team.  We plan to have those teams in 2023-2024 and possibly add another white team to the roster as well this coming year.  It depends on making sure we have exceptional coaches for these teams and the numbers to support the team.  The schedule for the "White" Teams vary slightly based on what is best for that particular group, but the GENERAL schedule is:

FALL
  *   Fall Practices on turf
  *   Fall Box League
  *   1 Fall Tournament (small sided and 1 day)

WINTER
  *   Winter Team Training/Practices (Jan/Feb)

SPRING
  *   Spring practices on turf
  *   Spring League Games (Sundays in April and May - games will be local)
  *   1 summer tournament - local and fun!

  *   Team Reversible & Swag
  *   Team Bonding Activity

BLC "White" Teams have a combination of parent coaches and professional coaches to ensure the right balance, attention and care for maximum development (and fun) of the players and teams.

Players interested in the white team should register for tryouts and  plan to attend the tryout for their graduation year (rising 3rd graders attend 2033 tryouts, rising 4th graders attend the 2032 tryouts, etc....).  Please visit our tryout page for more information and the link to register.
